Brooke Mueller has a new boyfriend who she says she couldn't have met without the help of her ex, Charlie Sheen.
In the past, Mueller and Sheen have not always been on the greatest of terms. She has two sons with Sheen, but the couple fell out in 2009 when Sheen was arrested for attacking Mueller in Aspen, Colorado. Charges for the arrest included third degree assault and criminal mischief. In 2010 the couple divorced and Mueller filed for a restraining order against Sheen.
However it appears now that all has been forgiven, because sources close to her have stated that Mueller attributes her newfound love life to Sheen. The cowboy in question is Jaron Lowenstein.
"We're told ... if Brooke hadn't been with Charlie at the time, she would not have been at that party and never would have met Jaron," TMZ reported. "Our sources says the two exchanged numbers that night (don't worry, everything was kept PG) but Brooke had a sneaking suspicion the whole C.S. relationship wasn't going to work out (um, duh). "
Mueller and Lowenstein have reportedly kept in touch over the past year, but only began to officially date a couple of months ago.
In the past Mueller has been in and out of drug and alcohol rehab, causing some to question whether she is ready to be in a new relationship. Other wondered why Lowenstein would want to involve himself in all of the drama that has surrounded both Sheen and Mueller. Mueller however finished drug rehab earlier this year and may be on track for a new and better life.
