'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 2 Premiere Live Stream, Spoilers and News: Premiere Episode Plot Rumors Revealed

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is about to premiere its second season in a few hours, and fans are wondering if the cliffhangers from the May season finale will be addressed. Is Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) really working undercover for the FBI? And moreover, did he really confess his crush to Amy? And are Charles and Gina sleeping together?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Samberg and executive producer Dan Goor revealed what can be expected from the season 2 premiere episode of the show.

"The payoff of one of the three [cliffhangers] involves a velour sweat suit … I won't say which," said Goor.

When asked how Jake is doing in his undercover assignment, Samberg said, "It's gone well, he's used his chameleon skills."

"That's the beautiful thing about a television show. You just say things are true and then they are true. In this world, we are to believe that Jake has integrated himself into the mob and earned their trust," the actor added.

Jenny Slate, a former "Saturday Night Live" co-star of Samberg, is set to guest star in the premiere episode as a mob mistress who could help Jake close the case.

"She knows the location of a mobster that Jake is looking for, but she's very tight lipped," said Goor. "Jake has to go head to head with her to get it out."

But what about Jake's relationship with Amy? Will it progress further than a crush or will it stay that way this season?

"They definitely have a talk," said Samberg. "Their dynamic is very interesting and not straightforward 'will they or won't they,' which I like. It's more complicated and real world than that."

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2 premieres at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 on FOX, and can be watched online by clicking here.
