Bruce Jenner Says Kanye West 'Hasn't Been Around'

Bruce Jenner, the former Olympic gold medalist and step father to Kim Kardashian, is letting it be known that he does not know enough about her boyfriend Kanye West.

Although West, 35, and Kardashian,32, are expecting their first child together this summer, the pair have been the subject of rumors that their relationship may be in trouble. West has made headlines for spending a large amount of his time recording music in Paris instead of by Kardashian's side in California.

While Kardashian has attempted to clear up rumors by posting images of the pair on social media websites and speaking kindly about West in interviews, her step father admitted that he barely knew the rapper.

"Actually, I have only met him once…," Jenner said on Extra TV recently. "Yeah he's not around, he was in Paris the whole time writing, and he just hasn't been around."

Jenner's statement came after Extra TV host Maria Menounos questioned if he and his son Brody Jenner have been bonding with West. Brody said he never met West.

However, the younger Jenner and Kardashian's step brother did not speak any rude words about West.

"..I hear Kim says great things about him and so does the entire family," the younger Jenner said.

Khloe Kardashian-Odom, Kim's younger sister, has come to West's defense about his absence during the pregnancy.

"Kim and Kanye are 100 percent still together and we are waiting for Kim's baby! Kanye is in Paris and London writing his album right now and that has a deadline," Kardashian-Odom recently revealed on "Watch What Happens Live" recently. "So that's why he's been out of town a lot, but Kim's been there to see him and he has been to L.A. quite a few times. And Atlanta for the premiere of the movie she did with Tyler Perry and to New York a few times."
