The song, co-written with the band's singer, Jason Roy and fellow Christian artist Jason Ingram also won Christian Song of the Year for Billboard music like last year.

"This award is just another way that God has shown an incredible amount of favor to Building 429 in a year that has been amazing to say the least," Roy told Jesus Freak Hideout. "It was a privilege to share the stage with Stephen Curtis Chapman and Brandon Heath to perform at the ceremony for a room full of prolific hit writers, and a memory we will not soon forget."

"We also count it an honor to carry the banner of BMI Song of the Year as we continue to expect even greater things as our new record, We Won't Be Shaken, begins to take flight," he continued. "Thank you to BMI and all the incredible staffers, writers, artists, and publishers represented last night."

It is their sixth album off of Essential Records, and their first album to reach No. 1.

The latest album nearly doubled the sales of their last, Listen to the Sound, in its first week. The title track and first single has already received over 57 million impressions after only being on the radio for three months, according to Bozeman Media.

"Building 429 is one of the hardest working bands in our business and to see them reach No. 1 for the first time on the Billboard Contemporary Christian Chart is a proud moment for all of us at Provident," says Vice President of Sales at Provident Label Group, Jimmy Wheeler. "The entire team is privileged to work with this band and we believe this is just the beginning of bigger things to come."

Building 429 was recently part of K-LOVE's first fan awards where they were nominated for two awards, Song of the Year and Breakout Artist of the Year, and had a much talked about performance of "Where I Belong," according to those in attendance.

The band will be touring this summer at major festivals and on Moddy's national radio show, Chris Fabry Live!
