Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Release Date: Exclusive Items From 'Fuel Up for Battle' Promo

The most-awaited first-person shooter game by Sledgehammer, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, is already coming in the next few months and fans of the game series are now clamoring for more updates of its release.

Mountain Dew and Doritos, often regarded as the "fuel for gamers," has recently joined in a partnership to give players of COD a chance to customize their upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer experience with exclusive in-game items and other exciting perks.

The promo, which is officially called "Fuel Up for Battle" will start on Oct. 6, barely a month before the game hit the shelves. Gamers and snack-food junkies will see specially-marked Mountain Dew and Doritos packages in select markets around the world.

These marked products will bear codes which players will then use to redeem their prizes online at DewandDoritos.com. It does say in the website that it will "unlock exclusive in-game gear, Double XP, and Rapid Supply for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare."

In-game gears will include "an exoskeleton, heavy vest kit, helmets, goggles, boots, and more."
Redemption dates will last until Feb. 15, 2015.

Furthermore, redeeming a code will automatically enter the players in a draw to win an Xbox One, Gamespot reported.

Snack companies behind Doritos and Mountain Dew have long been participating in promoting numerous games before. Back in 2012, they also offer "Double XP" perks for Halo 4. Prior to that, specially-marked Doritos packages gave out access to buyers to the Ultimate Team pack for Madden NFL 13.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is slated to be released for PC, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on Nov. 4, 2014.
