'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Awakening DLC: Latest Trailer Previews New Zombie Saga Chapter
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" Awakening DLC previews continue. This time, it's a new trailer for the bonus included in the expansion pack.
The companies behind the game, developer Treyarch and publisher Activision, are making sure to generate buzz around the upcoming launch of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" Awakening DLC. The game's official YouTube channel uploaded the latest video (below) on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
The new trailer provides fans with a glimpse of the new season of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" Zombies DLC titled "Der Eisendrache." It is included in the Awakening DLC as a bonus and continues the game's zombie story from where The Giant left off.

Here's the full description of the new chapter:
"Call of Duty: Black Ops III's epic Zombies DLC season begins here. In "Der Eisendrache," Origins characters Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo, and Dempsey embark on a suicide mission to an enemy research facility built upon an archaic site of unspeakable horror. Massive deposits of Element 115 have recently been discovered, delivering inspired new gameplay and — in Zombies tradition — a variety of plot twists and surprises to discover at every turn."
The Der Eisendrache preview is the third in a series of trailers that showcases the Awakening DLC's contents. On Monday, Activision released a new trailer for Splash and another one for Skyjacked on Friday. Splash and Skyjacked are two of the multiplayer maps included in the upcoming expansion pack. Previews of two other maps, Rise and Gauntlet, should be released any time soon.
Splash is a map set at a water theme park. Skyjacked features a futuristic flying ship and is a remake of "Black Ops 2's" Hijacked map. The location for Rise is in a construction zone, while Gauntlet features different biomes.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's" Awakening DLC is set to release on Tuesday, Feb. 2, to Sony's PlayStation 4.
