'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' News: Activision Puts On The Hype To Lure In Even Casual Gamers

Only a few days left until the release of Treyarch's next installment to its "Call of Duty" series. For Activision, nothing beats putting on the hype to bring in as many buyers of their newest game as they possibly can. This meant making a cinematic, live-action trailer for the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" featuring Hollywood stars. This also included making it easier for buyers to get the game without leaving the comforts of their home by having one-hour shipping available when one purchases the game via Amazon Prime.

According to a report in Tech Times, the trailer was released early this week and only a few days away from the game's November 6 release. It is part of Activision's "Seize Glory" campaign and features an "everyman" character named Kevin, who is shown in the trailer fighting his way through a battlefield, running on walls and destroying enemies that are inhuman, to say the least.

The star-studded trailer is narrated by Michael B. Jordan of "Creed" and "Fantastic Four," with Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch doing some narration also. Actress and model Cara Delevingne of "Paper Towns" also appears towards the end of the trailer, as bullets are flying past her.

Activision said of their everyman approach in the trailer: "No matter who you are, there's a soldier in all of us."

In another piece of related news, Gamespot reports that Amazon Prime is offering a one-hour delivery program for the game starting on its launch date. This means that buyers who order the game using the Prime Now app will be receiving physical copies of the game one hour after they order it, starting midnight on November 6. Preorders may be placed as early as now but those who pre-order will still have to wait for November 6. This special promotion will not require buyers to pay any shipping fees. The Prime Now service, however, is limited to 20 markets in the U.S.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" will be released on November 6 for current generation consoles, the Xbox One and the PS4, PC and the Xbox 360 and the PS3.
