'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' News: Developer Is Listening To Beta Feedback

The upcoming shooter "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" recently concluded its beta, but unlike other games who seem to take beta results like a grain of salt, game developer Treyarch Studios is seriously considering changes that they will do as a result of beta feedback, according to a report in GameSpot. In a PlayStation blog post, the developer listed ten changes that they will work on before they launch the complete game in November.

The report mentioned, in some detail, several of these changes, which include a change in the game's Black Hat hacking mechanic by making it longer for a player to steal a scorestreak and instituting a better way of alerting players once this is happening.

In terms of flinching, which happens when a player aims down the sights of a weapon and when a player is being shot at, the change instituted has to do with setting a new limit so that flinching is in fact reduced.

Another ability that is called the Rejack ability will be adjusted as well. Rejack is what allows a certain character class to be revived after being killed. When a player uses it to kill someone, the player's scorestreak progress will be reset, therefore not allowing the player to get high-end scorestreaks when they use the Rejack ability.

Additional changes include getting more feedback for the player whether they are hitting and have actually killed their enemies and having a kill cam that provides information about your enemies' weapons and equipment. For a complete list, fans can visit the blog post here.

In related news, the game's publisher, Activision, recently revealed the first images of the ninth specialist class in the game's multiplayer mode. Called the "Firebreak" specialist, the Forbes report noted that it "looks like every pyromaniac's dream class." Specialists are said to bring special powers that they can use in multiplayer mode. Earlier, eight specialist classes have been introduced.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" will be released for PC, current generation consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) as well as the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 6.
