Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion DLC Maps Leaked

Images displaying maps found in the new Invasion DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts leaked onto the internet earlier this week.

Pictures showing off at least three of the maps made their way to several of the game's official websites. Charlie Intel reports that three images appeared on the French, French Canadian, German, and Spanish websites for Call of Duty. However, they were removed relatively quickly.

The Invasion DLC will take players through new maps that include the Day of the Dead Dia de los Muertos celebration. There are also areas in a dark port complete with a wooden ship in Mutiny and to the ruins of ancient Egypt in Pharaoh.

This will be the third DLC to launch for the game. Activision has not announced a release date for it yet. However, the company did state that the Advanced Warfare DLC will be released for Xbox consoles first.

Call of Duty: Ghosts was released last year and is currently available for the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One. The game failed to achieve the sales numbers of previous Call of Duty titles such as Black Ops 2. Activision attributes the drop in sales to the transition of consoles.

Two DLC's launched for the game thus far include "Onslaught' and 'Devastation."

The first of these was released in the beginning of this year and brings 4 new multiplayer maps including Fog, Bayview, Ignition, and Containment. The second DLC came out last month and introduced even more maps. The pack included Ruins, Behemoth, Collision, and Unearthed. It also came with a new hybrid multiplayer weapon called the Ripper and the ability to play as the Predator creature from the films.
