Infinity Ward showcased a 12-minute campaign gameplay video at San Diego Comic-Con, unveiling the origin of the "Infinite Warfare" called "Black Sky." Players will take the role of Capt. Nick Reyes from the United Nations Space Alliance (UNSA) who is tasked to lead his squad to battle against the Settlement Defense Front that attacked Geneva.

The visually appealing footage started with the surprise assault in Geneva. From the streets of the city, the battle between Reyes' squad and the Settlement Defense Front intensified and elevated into the space. After some gripping dogfight in space, Reyes' squad successfully destroyed the massive dropship of the enemy.

Reyes later turned the commander of a spacecraft carrier called UNSA Retribution. This warship will serve as the players' home base, which means players need to return to it in between missions. The Retribution could be used in mission preparations and other causes.

Terminal is Back

Aside from unveiling an appealing gameplay, IGN reports that Activision also announced that a new version of the Terminal, the multiplayer map from "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," will be available as bonus for those players who will preorder the "Infinite Warfare." This time, the setting of the Terminal is in a space shuttle port on the moon.

"Now a shuttle port on the moon, the breathtaking new environment will accommodate for new gameplay, whilst raising the bar visually," the publisher stated, according to VG24/7.
