When she's not on the set of "Fuller House" in Los Angeles, Candace Cameron Bure is on the East Coast as a co-host of "The View." And her achievements in the entertainment industry have now led to her being named "Entertainer of the Year" by Fox News' Fox 411.

Bure shared the exciting news on Facebook last week: "Thank you Fox News. I'm honored and excited to be named Fox 411's Entertainer of the Year!"

During an in-depth interview with Fox, Bure said the biggest highlight of her year was "Fuller House," a spinoff of "Full House," the eight-season series where Bure launched her career.

"It was just amazing to come back and be able to do this spinoff show and work with people that are most dear to me in my life, and have a better time the second go around than we could have even imagined. It feels like home, it feels like family, and it's really fun and just a great show," Bure told Fox 411.

In August it was announced that Bure was selected to join ABC's "The View" as a co-host. Although the job would take her away from her family and shooting "Fuller House" during the weekdays, the California native decided to take on the challenge.

"The best part of ['The View'] is learning how to do something new within my industry because I never thought I would be a talk show host; I've never done anything from a journalistic point of view — so this is very new to me," she continued.

Along with a booming career, Bure is a wife and mother of three, and admits that it's been difficult to balance her personal life and career. Interestingly enough, she penned a book in 2013 titled Balancing It All.

"The most challenging part has been the schedule for me because I am in New York to do 'The View.' I live in Los Angeles. 'Fuller House' is taped in Los Angeles, so I am flying home every weekend to see my family," she explained.

Bure and her family are very strong Christians and the actress capped off her interview by saying that she purposes herself to provide a godly example of a hardworking individual for her children.

"In all things you do, honor the Lord, and in all things you do, work hard," she shared. "It really is all about the effort you put in while keeping your integrity and your character. That's why first and foremost I want my kids to respect themselves and honor God, and to then just work hard. Even if someone hands something to you, it never feels as good as when you've earned it yourself."

Although accepting the incredible honor of being Fox 411's Entertainer of the Year, Bure is looking to have an even more successful 2016. She concluded her interview by telling the cable network that her hope is for "Fuller House" to get a second season. Furthermore, she revealed that she's staying on the "The View" and will do "several" more Hallmark movies, and is even considering writing her fourth book.
