New Resident Evil Revelations 2 Raid Mode Details, News: Loot Options and Co-op Mode Gameplay

Capcom recently fleshed out further information for their upcoming survival horror game "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" wherein they explained the basics of the new raid mode, loot options as well as the co-op mode play.

In Capcom's official update website, the studio stipulated that in RE: Revelations 2, players will be able to customize their chosen lead character by giving it a variety of outfits to wear and different weapons to wield.

For starters, the Raid Mode is basically a "shoot-and-loot" mode which was introduced in the previous Revelations. Here, players are pitted to face an army of enemies on multiple stages and after defeating them, they can collect more powerful weapons and other utilities which they then can use to effectively vanquish stronger opponents.

In Revelations 2, the Raid Mode starts by choosing a character. Each character has different specialties that will suit the player's taste. After which, they are deployed to take on the mobs. Aside from the usual weapon, utility, and currency loots, Revelations 2 introduces treasure chests filled with useable items.

The new Raid Mode would also allow cooperative playing. The press release indicated that gamers can work together either through online connectivity services or simply by using a local, two-player split-screen option.

The ultimate goal in Raid Mode still remains to be about finding and breaking the goal emblem at the end of each stage.

The first episode of "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" is expected to launch on Feb. 17. Three more episodes will follow after in the succeeding weeks.

According to reports, Capcom intended to release a full disc containing the four episodes of "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" on March 10.
