'Captain America: Civil War' Movie News: Captain America's Costume in the Upcoming Movie Is Not His Favorite, Chris Evans Says

While the suit that Captain America wears gathers the elements of the American flag, Chris Evans, the actor who is most identified with the role, is not really a fan of the Captain America costumes that display the red, white, and blue colors of the flag. For the actor, the best Captain America costume that he has ever worn is the one he used in "Captain America: Winter Soldier."

"I like the stealth suit from Cap 2. The dark, navy blue suit from the opening of Winter Soldier when I'm on the Lemurian Star, messing people up on that ship. And in the elevator! That's my favorite. I have requested it every movie, but the people at Marvel really like a little red. They like a little red in there. Which is fine. It's Cap; I get it," he said in an interview with Cinema Blend.

The costume that falls in the good graces of Evans was inspired by the character's costume in the comic book titled "Secret Avengers."
