In fact, these two teams have been the brightest squads throughout the regular season, as they hold two of the best records in the league during the regular campaign.

Winners of their respective divisions, the Panthers and Cardinals hold between them only four defeats in 32 total match-ups this year.

This is a good indication that whoever wins will represent the conference well.

However, that is far ahead from the present and now, they will have to battle it out one last time this season to know who the best of the NFC is.

The Cardinals are still considered the underdogs as the Panthers simply had a stellar season with only one loss so far.

This makes for a great encounter between the two teams with both franchises already displaying their strengths as they secured their places in the championship round.

The Cardinals eliminated the Green Bay Packers in one of the best games in recent history as the first play in the overtime period saw them throw out Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in a great game.

On the other hand, the Panthers unseated the NFC title holders the Seattle Seahawks in impressive fashion as Cam Newton and the rest of the crew handled their business at home.

Now the home crowd should play another big role in this game, with the Panthers feeding off the cheers, while the Cardinals try to silence the critics.
