Casey Anthony’s Face Worth $24,000 on Ebay

A latex mask of 25-year-old Casey Anthony took Ebay by storm on Wednesday, with buyers entering a $20,000 bidding war for what appears to be a highly coveted piece for Halloween.

The mask, sculpted by pop artist and sculptor Torro, was created “to precision for a parody video,” the seller prophunter stated and advertised as “one of the best Halloween masks.”

“Halloween is only a few months away,” the description noted. “Forget Freddy, Jason, Meyers, here’s your chance to scare the *#&% out of everyone and win every costume contest with this amazing Tot Mom latex rubber mask, possibly the most frightening mask on the planet.”

The mask was used as a prop for production, according to the seller, who also called it “a significant piece of crime history” and “one heck of a conversation piece.”

With less than a couple of hours still left on the clock, the current bid rests at $24,300, though it started at $25 just three days ago.

Eighty-four bids and counting have been placed on the mask so far between 28 potential buyers, but none are sure how serious the inquiries are.

Although the real Anthony is yet to be seen in the public eye after her release from jail, it looks as if she may appear sooner than expected, though not exactly herself.

Her murder trial, one of the most watched court cases of the year, was highly publicized, causing much of the public to take a vested interest in the case.

After a lengthy and heated month-long trial, jurors acquitted Anthony of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, unconvinced beyond a reasonable doubt.

The majority of the public did not agree with the not guilty verdict the jury laid out, most notably HLN host Nancy Grace, who strongly believed, and voiced, that Anthony was guilty.

“I bet Nancy Grace would love one of these,” the Los Angeles seller also commented on the purported one-of-a-kind mask.

The auction ends on Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST. No returns will be accepted on the item.

Other Anthony items being sold on Ebay include tees, trial tickets, domain names, and another “rare” mask, this time made out of paper and “drawn to precision” by joeybee123, for serious bidders only.
