Friends of Casey Anthony’s then-boyfriend Tony Lazzaro testified Wednesday that Anthony was at their apartment the night her daughter went missing and did not show signs of distress.

The Casey Anthony trial continued Wednesday with Nathan Lezniewicz and Cameron Campana as witnesses to the day Anthony presumably killed 2-year-old Caylee.

During the second day of the trial, which is expected to last six to eight weeks, they testified that while she stayed at their apartment on June 16, 2008, she seemed “normal.”

Campana, who met Anthony at Lazzaro’s birthday party around May 24, 2008, was asked a single question: if he was home during the night her daughter died. He said he was not.

When Lezniewicz was called, he testified that during Anthony’s stay at his apartment she did not seem angry, sad, depressed or worried.

During the time Caylee disappeared, Anthony began frequent overnight stays at their apartment.

The last time he saw Anthony at his apartment was on July 15, 2008, when her mother, Cindy Anthony, showed up at his place asking her to leave.

Lezniewicz met Caylee a few times but she never spent a night at his apartment. He told the defense that she never seemed malnourished or in poor shape and that Anthony never hit or shouted at her daughter.

When they both asked Anthony about her daughter, both men said she told them the child was with her nanny or at the beach.

Roy "Clint" House, another roommate who previously testified and whom Anthony met at a “No Clothes Party,” said when they asked for the nanny’s name, "She just referred to her as 'the nanny.’”

Forty witnesses are expected to testify for the case where Anthony is charged with first-degree murder and is facing the death penalty.
