'Castle' Premiere Spoilers, ABC TV Start Time: Season 7 to Pick Up from Previous Chapter's Accident, Actor Talks About His Character

"Castle," the police procedural dramedy TV series is now ready to take off for its seventh season with its premiere episode entitled "Driven" scheduled to air this coming Monday, Sept. 29 at 10/9c on ABC.

"In the Season 6 finale, as Richard Castle drove to his much-anticipated nuptials, an ominous black SUV bore down on him. Meanwhile, after waiting in vain for Castle to arrive at the wedding, Beckett was called to an accident scene to find Castle's car in a ravine, engulfed in flames. Who or what caused the car crash? Is there any way Castle could have survived? The episode will pick-up at the scene of that accident, right where the finale left off, in a premiere that promises to put Beckett through the toughest case of her career," the synopsis reads.

In a report by Entertainment Weekly, they pointed out lead actor Nathan Fillion, who played Richard Castle in the show, saying that his character will find itself "where he would like to be" when the season continues.

"I think we will find that Castle is exactly where he would like to be," the 43-year-old actor said.

"Castle has a particular kind of quality of life and he lives his life in a particular way. He doesn't make the greatest decisions all the time, but he does try to live his life without regret and I don't think that's even a conscious decision, I think that's just something he just kind of does," Fillion further talked about his character.

In relation to Castle's wedding with NYPD detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) Fillion stated that his character will also likely to remain as so.

"He's been married twice already. It's not like he's gun shy. I think Castle is a man who loves life and he loves people and think that is something that will never fundamentally change about him," he said.
