'Castle' Season 6 Spoilers: Stana Katic Offers Farewell on Twitter, Confirms Beckett's Death?

"Castle" returns to ABC after a month-long hiatus on Monday with a brand new episode and fans everywhere are anxious to learn of Beckett's fate.

Fans of the crime drama have speculated over what the rest of season six has in store, including rumors that Kate Beckett (portrayed by Stana Katic) may be killed during an operation that goes horribly wrong. Katic herself pointed to at least one death on the television series with a recent Twitter post.

"S6 finale had us saying goodbye to a number of collegues today," she wrote on the social media site. "Lucky to work with these incredibly talented actors."

And on April 12, the actress added, "Last day of filming. Quite a gift working with this crew & cast. Thankyou everyone for watching! All the best, Stana."

While "Castle" finally returns on Monday, news about the season finale include guest roles going to motorcycle gang leaders, an ex mob-boss, and stripper and an officiant, according to TV Line. Offering more clues on season six, "Castle" star Seamus Denver who portrays Kevin Ryan recently discussed the relationships found on the detective drama.

"I know [writer] Andrew [W. Marlowe] liked the idea of seeing the progression of things," the actor explained. "Esposito might never get married and doesn't even have a permenant girlfriend. Ryan is very settled and going to be a dad. So, on the [relationship] scale, we're polar opposites and Castle and Beckett are somewhere in the middle, heading towards marriage and babies and things like that. I think its fun for [the writers] to play off of that."

"Castle" airs on ABC Mondays at 10 p.m. EST. This week's installment will see Beckett and Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) in a 1970's-themed show. The synopsis is as follows: "The body of a mobster who vanished in the 1970's is found by construction workers, and Beckett and Castle must deal with a murder witness who believes it's still the 1970's."
