CBS Releases 2013/14 Primetime Lineup: 8 New Shows

CBS just unveiled the new prime time lineup for their 2013-2014 programming today, and most notable about the announcement is the eight new shows on the list.

"Our team has 20 shows renewed ... Having this sort of stability makes us really excited," said CBS president and CEO, Leslie Moonves, during a conference call reports CBSNews. "All I can tell you is the network is alive and healthy."

Returning shows to the network are: "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Criminal Minds," "Person of Interest," "Survivor", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Two and a Half Men," "The Amazing Race," "Undercover Boss," "Hawaii Five-O," "Blue Bloods," "Person of Interest," "The Good Wife," "The Mentalist," "48 Hours," "The Big Bang Theory," "Mike & Molly," "2 Broke Girls," and "How I Met Your Mother," with the latter four being a main focus as is all comedy on CBS.

Tuesday's will be drama night with "NCIS," "NCIS:Los Angeles," and "Person of Interests," while Thursday will feature a two-hour comedy block.

Some of the new comedies from the network include: "The Crazy Ones," "The Millers," "Mom," "We Are Men," and "Friends with Better Lives."

"The Crazy Ones" will see Robin Williams return to television for the first time in over 20 years and also, show the return of '90s TV star, Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The show focuses around the lives of a father and daughter who are in charge of a successful advertising agency.

Three dramas will be thrown into the mix as well, "Hostages," Intelligence," and "Reckless."

9:30 p.m. "Mom"
10 p.m. Hostages (15 episodes into January) /"Intelligence" (start of 2014)

8 p.m. "NCIS"
9 p.m. "NCIS: Los Angeles"
10 p.m. "Person of Interest"

Wednesdays
8 p.m. "Survivor"
9 p.m. "Criminal Minds"
10 p.m. "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation"

Thursdays
8 p.m. "The Big Bang Theory"
8:30 p.m. "The Millers"
9 p.m. "The Crazy Ones"
9:30 p.m. "Two and a Half Men"
10 p.m. "Elementary"

Fridays
8 p.m. "Undercover Boss"
9 p.m. "Hawaii Five-O"
10 p.m. "Blue Bloods"

Saturdays
8 p.m. Comedytime Saturday
9 p.m. Crimetime Saturday
10 p.m. "48 Hours"

Sundays
8 p.m. "The Amazing Race"
9 p.m. "The Good Wife"
10 p.m. "The Mentalist" with "Mike & Molly" coming back midseason.
