In honor of the 2011 National Read a Book Day celebrities have revealed their favorite books that have inspired, engrossed and humored them.

Judd Apatow, the producer and director of popular comedy movie “Knocked Up,” has said that his favorite book is “A Death in the Family” by James Agee, according to Newsoxy.

Former President Bill Clinton has also joined in to explain that his favorite book is critically acclaimed paperback “I Know Why The Caged Gird Sings” by Maya Angelou.

Former president George H. W. Bush lists a controversial book as one of his favorites, and says it "helped shape my life." The former president’s favorite was "The Catcher in the Rye."

Anderson Cooper is another who is speaking about books. He has revealed that he grew up with "a mild form of dyslexia" that required special instruction. Despite his difficulties he still developed a love of reading, and has said that his favorite book is "A Death in the Family."
