ChargeRadio: New Internet Station Launched
With a mainstream top 40 sound, ChargeRadio.com, an Internet-based radio station, has been officially launched. The Christian hit radio station features both the hottest Christian artists as well as mainstream artists of faith.
ChargeRadio plays a variety of music styles including rap, rock, pop, R&B, and dance. Featured artists include Switchfoot, The Afters, Lifehouse, Relient K, GRITS, U2, LA Symphony and so forth.
The new station airs two specialty shows called "The High Voltage 25,' a countdown of the 25 hottest songs of the week and "Weekend Energy," a three-hour program of dance music, remixes and other party favorites.

ChargeRadio.com streams through Live 365. The station debuted as FreeRock1.com in 1999 with a Modern Rock/Alternative format before becoming ChargeRadio.com on the evening of May 31, 2005.
"Our mission is to bring listeners a station that is competitive with a mainstream Top 40 station while uplifiting the name of Jesus Christ and ministering to others," stated ChargeRadio. "We play modern, relevant music from a Christian perspective, and present the Gospel through short vignettes."
