Charlie Sheen Hoax, Pulls Knife on Dentist? 'Completely Fabricated,' Says Actor's Lawyer

Charlie Sheen allegedly pulled a knife on his dentist during a visit to the Los Angeles office last week during oral surgery, according to reports. Police are now investigating the "Anger Management" actor following the incident.

Charlie Sheen was reportedly being prepped for dental surgery last Thursday when the incident occurred. The 49-year-old Hollywood actor was in the Los Angeles office to get an abscess removed, but when the dental technician gave him nitrous oxide, Sheen allegedly started waving his arms around wildly, according to TMZ.

The actor got into a scuffle with the dental technician, the dentist and the oral surgeon that were present, even pulling a knife on the dentist, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Afterwards, Sheen's security guard entered the room and said that the actor was high on "rock cocaine" and that was the reason for the outburst. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the fracas.

Police have confirmed that there was an incident involving Sheen, but wouldn't say much else.

"There was an incident with Charlie Sheen at a dentist's office. It's under investigation. It was on Sept. 25," LAPD officer Diana Figueroa told The New York Daily News.

However, Sheen's publicist has denied that his client was high or that any knife was pulled during the scuffle.

"Charlie had a shoulder injury that started back from his days playing baseball. He had some issue with it and was on some meds for that and then he had an abscess in his tooth that was bothering him," Sheen's rep Jeff Ballard told People magazine. "He went to a dentist and was given some gas, and apparently had a bad reaction to it because of the meds he was taking for his shoulder. It was just a bad interaction [of drugs] ... There was no knife and illegal substances involved."

Furthermore, the dentist said that his technician was lying about the incident.

"The story is being made up by this woman [the dental technician] who was fired on Friday for violating HIPAA by telling her son Charlie was in the office. It got back to Charlie and the dentist fired her," Sheen's lawyer Marty Singer told TMZ.

Police will interview Sheen and the dentist about the incident before handing over the case to the L.A. County District Attorney, who will decide whether or not to prosecute.
