The Cavaliers are right where they were expecting to be before the season started. One of the strongest teams in the league, the 2015 NBA Finals runners-up have amassed an impressive run as of late and it is boosted by the play of LeBron James and Kevin Love.
Despite the absence of Kyrie Irving who is still recovering from his injury picked up last year, the Cavaliers have been afloat for the most part and are looking good after their first 15 matches.
However, not all is sunny in Ohio as they recently lost to the Toronto Raptors in an away game.
In the 103-99 loss, James was interviewed and demanded focus from his teammates as they lost a big game against another Eastern Conference rival.
Now it remains to be seen if things are better as they face the Hornets.
On the other hand, Charlotte are on a four-game winning streak and are looking even more impressive as the days go on.
Their last win came at the expense of the Washington Wizards – another strong team from the East with aspirations to reach the playoffs later down the road.
Excellent play from Nicolas Batum and Al Jefferson have boosted the team and will hope to extend their streak to five by toppling the Cavaliers.
