“Nancy Grace” airs on HLN at 8 p.m. EST Sunday.

Bono is no longer in the ABC’s dance competition, but Grace remains in the running for the mirror ball trophy. Bono was the center of controversy after being introduced as a member of this season’s cast.

When ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” introduced the 42-year-old ahead of the season, the show’s audience expressed mixed reactions. The controversial decision to add Bono stemmed from a gender change that the star underwent after coming out as a lesbian in 1995.

Meanwhile, many fans of the show, especially those in the LBGT community, have lauded Bono’s addition to the cast. Despite his elimination, Bono remains friends with the rest of the cast and show support for them as the competition continues.

Grace, 51, also met challenges being on the show. At the beginning of DWTS season 13, she revealed to ABC News that the decision was not without fear.

“I think my biggest fear is falling,” said the celebrity who has lasted seven weeks on DWTS.

“Look at all the competition, they’re young, skinny, beautiful singers, soccer players, stars – I’m a lawyer,” said Grace.

She and pro dancer Tristan MacManus have stayed toward the bottom of the score boards, and will return to the ball room to perform another routine Monday night.

About the performance this week, Grace wrote on Twitter: “Tango! Instant jive! It’s hard to believe this is week 8! Tristan and I are working our tails off – will bring our best dance yet! #DWTS.”

Grace and the four other remaining couples will perform on ABC’s “DWTS” Monday at 8 p.m. EST.
