Chelsea Transfer News 2015: Diego Costa May Be Out for New Season Opener
Following their 1-0 loss to Arsenal in the FA Community Shield match at Wembley Stadium, Chelsea are looking at more problems as it appears they will be missing Diego Costa in their English Premier League opener.
According to the club's Twitter account, the forward may not be in the running to feature against Swansea City after having "discomfort in his hamstring."
It was earlier claimed by manager Jose Mourinho that Costa would not spend a lot of time on the sidelines with the injury as he believes it is only a minor knock to the striker.

Costa picked up the injury in a friendly against Barcelona, but it was first reported by Sky Sports that "it is just a feeling, no more than that."
However, it looks more than just a slight knock and now adds to a long list of past injuries that the 26-year-old has gone through.
Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Costa has been a vital part of their title run in the past season.
Last year, Costa knocked in 20 league goals to help the team despite missing a number of games due to injuries and fitness issues.
Being without Costa will put a huge dent in Chelsea's aspirations to defend the title, and it adds more pressure to newcomers like Radamel Falcao to produce when Costa is not available on the pitch.
However, the London club are still the clear favourites to win the title, with stars like Eden Hazard, Loic Remy and Victor Moses also available in the attacking end.
If Costa misses the first game, the Blues will hopefully have him back in the second game week or risk falling behind early in the season to other teams who have significantly improved over the summer.
