Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid Live Stream Free: Watch Online Champions League Semi Final (Start Time)

Chelsea will play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi final second leg on Wednesday night, in what is sure to be a nail-biting encounter between two of the best teams in Europe this season. The tie is deadlocked at 0-0 coming into this game following the teams' draw last week in Spain, so everything is still to play for tonight. The game is scheduled to start at 2.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The football world was stunned yesterday when Real Madrid absolutely destroyed reigning champions Bayern Munich 4-0 in Germany, to storm into the final by a 5-0 aggregate victory.

Ahead of that game everyone had been wondering whether Real would be able to hold off Bayern following their 1-0 win at the Bernabeu last week, but they more than answered any critics they've had this season by taking apart the German Bundesliga champions, and immediately put themselves as firm favorites to win this season's European Cup.

They will be watching today's game eagerly awaiting to see who they will face in the final.

But either way it will be a hugely interesting final lined up – if they face Chelsea they will be facing their former manager Jose Mourinho, where as if they face Atletico Madrid they will be facing their cross-city rivals, who have already likely stolen the Spanish La Liga title from them this season, and will be looking to do the same in the Champions League.

Atletico will be looking for the away goal tonight. If they can score then Chelsea will need to score at least twice to go through. A score draw would result in the Spanish team going through. Basically if there are any goals tonight then Chelsea need to win the game in front of their home fans.

In team news, Chelsea captain John Terry and midfielder Eden Hazard will be fit for the game but goalkeeper Petr Cech is out, after dislocated his shoulder recently. Mark Schwarzer, who has kept two straight clean sheets in Cech's absence, is likely to start in goal.

Also midfielders John Mikel Obi and Frank Lampard are suspended for today's game, and the Blues will also be missing Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah who are both cup tied.

Meanwhile, for Atletico captain Gabi is suspended, and ex-Chelsea midfielder Tiago Mendes is likely to take his place in their team.
