Chelsea vs Shakhtar Donetsk Live Stream Football: Watch Online Free Champions League Soccer (2.45PM ET)

Chelsea vs Shakhtar Donetsk takes place in Group E of the Champions League on Wednesday evening with the English Premier League side looking to rectify a shock loss to the Ukrainian team in the corresponding away fixture two weeks ago. The game is scheduled to kick off at 2.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking on the link below.

Chelsea enter this game in second place in Group E with just four points from their opening three games in what has been a stuttering campaign so far to defend their Champions League title from last year.

The Blues have been a team out of sorts in Europe so far this year, and although they had gotten off to a good start in the English Premier League they have let their lead slip in recent weeks and Manchester United have now taken over at the top of the EPL table.

But this mid-week they will have all focus on their European defense, and they must realize that another loss today could potentially be dangerous and would put them on the verge of a shock exit from the competition. Although they would have two games remaining in the group the remaining games would become must-win games to guarantee their progress to the knock out stages, and a loss today would mean the best they could probably hope for is second place in the group. That would potentially mean they would have a much tougher draw in the knock out stages of the competition. There is a lot on the line for the Blues in tonight's fixture.

Chelsea will have to win tonight without Ashley Cole, who has been ruled out due to injury he suffered against Swansea at the weekend.

However, John Terry is expected to return after missing the Swansea game as he served his four match domestic ban.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has also confirmed that midfielder Frank Lampard will also miss the game and is still at least a week away from a return to fitness.

Shakhtar will realize that the Blues are out for revenge in tonight's game, but will have new confidence following their 2-1 win in Ukraine two weeks ago.
