A new action figure of a viral personality is making its way to toy stores. Chewbacca mom, also known as Candance Payne, received her own custom made action figure from Hasbro.

The new action figure was recently launched at Hasbro's Rhode Island headquarters. The action figure featured Payne's face along with a removable Chewbacca mask. It also featues 13 catchphrases that were taken from the viral video.

Payne expressed her gratitude for the action figure during the launch. She said, "Thanks SO much, HASBRO. You literally rolled out the red carpet for me and my family. Thanks for making play so much fun!"
Mother Goes Viral
Payne went viral a few weeks ago when she posted a Facebook video of herself wearing an electronic Wookie mask. She was in the car when she posted the video, excited to tell her friends about her new purchase. She then revealed that she bought a Chewbacca mask, for herself, not her kids.
In the video, she put it on and began laughing at herself. Her contagious laugther earned the views of many Facebook users, causing her video to go viral. It was revealed that her video became the most viewed Facebook Live video of all time. During an interview with "Good Morning America," Payne explained that she did not mean to buy the Chewbacca toy. She was at the store to buy yoga pants when she ended up seeing it.
Perks of Going Viral
Since her internet popularity, the action figure was not the only opportunity she received. She also received a lot of "Star Wars" items from Kohl's along with 10,000 Kohl's reward points. In addition, she was able to tour the Lucasfilm headquarters.
Payne also got to guest star on "The Late Late Show" with James Corden, where the two of them, along with J.J. Abrams, were seen doing a laugh-off. She also got to meet Marvel's Stan Lee. Perks aside, Payne said that she was happy to share her laughter with people around the world.
"The best part of all of this is being able to share joy with people, hear stories of people coming out of depression," she said. "I had one lady message me and tell me she has an autistic daughter that hadn't laughed in two months, and she said every time she showed her the video she laughed and laughed. And from one mama's heart to another mama, to see a child laugh that you haven't' seen laugh, those are the stories I will take with me every day."
