Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions will be one of the biggest games in week 4 of the NFL 2013 regular season on Saturday as the Bears look to maintain their perfect start to the new season and move to 4-0. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).
The Bears are going from strength to strength, after gaining a good 24-21 win over Cincinnati in week 1, they kept their perfect start to the season going by stealing a 31-30 victory over Minnesota in week 2. Then last week they exploded with confidence and destroyed the Pittsburgh Steelers 40-23. They go on the road again today to try and make it four from four, and if they pull it off they will move into October's games against New Orleans and the New York Giants trying to see how far they can extend their perfect start to the 2013 season.
The Bears have not struggled to get points on the board this season and are averaging 31.7 points per game, enough to rank their 3rd in the league in that category.
Jay Cutler has been a major part of their success, and he has thrown 68 of 101 for 693 yards and six touchdowns through the first three weeks of the season. The Bears will be hoping that Cutler can keep firing on all cylinders and devastating opposition defenses.
The Detroit Lions will put up a stern test today though, and they enter the match up with a record of 2-1. Their only loss this season came against the Arizona Cardinals in week 2 when they narrowly lost 21-25. Either side of that loss they won in week 1 34-24 against Minnesota, and last week they impressively took down the Washington Redskins 27-20.
The Lions have been phenomenal on the pass, posting 336 yards per game, which ranks them 2nd in the NFL so far. Matthew Stafford has spearheaded their offense with 77 of 121 for 1020 yards and six touchdowns. Calvin Johnson has recorded 268 yards and scored three touchdowns.
