'Chicago Fire' Season 5 Episode 17: Gabby Seeks Justice, Casey on Alderman Duty in 'Babies and Fools'

A series of similar car accidents piques Gabby's (Monica Raymund) suspicions and attempting to get to the bottom of it may just put her own life at risk in the next episode of "Chicago Fire.

They may have been spared from the center of the action in last week's hostage situation at Firehouse 51, but Gabby and Brett (Kara Killmer) will be facing a threat to their own lives in the upcoming episode titled "Babies and Fools." In the official trailer, the two of them are seen on their way to a routine call when a huge rock lands on the windshield of their ambulance. It is not made clear what happens to them next, but that unexpected assault has undoubtedly jeopardized their lives.

The official synopsis states that Gabby will be taking the case rather personally and will do everything she can to speed things along, especially after stumbling upon previous car accidents matching the descriptions of what had just happened to them. Someone may be targeting innocent people for their own personal reasons, and Gabby will do whatever it takes to apprehend them before they endanger someone else.
