Among the storylines for the third episode of "Chicago Med" Season 2, Rhodes' must be the most serious one based on the synopsis. His new mentor Dr. Latham was not exactly thrilled to have him on board right upon meeting him in the new season finale.

Surgery beyond him

Now Rhodes is the man of the hour again in a potentially explosive plot line that could make or break his career. What happens if he will not be able to pull off the surgery that may be beyond him and lose the patient? He will certainly be facing grave consequences from his Dr. Latham.

Already, he will be warned by Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) in this "Chicago Med" episode not to mess up because if he does, Rhodes will have a lot to worry about. Fans will just have to wait to find out if Rhodes can save the day for the patient or buries himself deeper with Dr. Latham.

He will meet her sister Denise who may be telling Halstead more than she should.
