'Chicago PD' Season 2 Premiere Live Stream, NBC Start Time, Spoilers: Halstead-Lindsay Romantic Link to Happen?

NBC's police drama series "Chicago PD" is now set to air its second season this Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. with the premiere episode entitled "Call It Macaroni." Fans of the new show will now continue to witness Chicago's finest Intelligence Unit, including Sgt. Henry "Hank" Voight (Jason Beghe), Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda), Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush), Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), just to name a few.

Though still in complete command of the squad, Voight will find himself when the season returns "under close watch by the Internal Affairs" following the Sheldon Jim murder investigation.

Marina Squerciati's Kim Burgess will also meet her new partner, Sean Roman, to be played by Brian Geraghty and tension between the two is high from the start.

Meanwhile, viewers of the show wouldn't still be able to witness any development of the Halstead-Lindsay romantic link. This was brought to light by executive producer Matt Olmstead, who said the officers will have to be careful with their affections.

"[He] warned them — Halstead in particular — that he doesn't like in-house romances," Olmstead told TVLine. If the two should want to "stay in this unit and ascend," then they have to avoid any "hanky panky" in front of Voight.

Olmstead noted that "given the opportunity, I think that they would fall into a relationship fairly quickly."

On the other hand, Lindsay will pay a visit to a person whom she hasn't seen for a long time – her mom, Bunny, which is to be played by Markie Post. Additional guest stars to appear on the show are Stella Maeve, Robert Ray Wisdom and Ian Bowen.
