Miami Heat NBA Trade Rumors, News: With Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade Leading, Does Miami Have a Chance Without LeBron?

The Miami Heat probably won't be the same without LeBron James, who decided to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the free agency season. Still, there's Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh to take the helm as the team's identity but it would seem that Dwayne Wade is still far from being the team's best player.

That honor might just go to Chris Bosh this season, having to make the calls during matches and overall just being the voice of the team.

Bosh almost made a deal to play with the Houston Rockets but the Heat just managed to be persuasive enough to sign him in for the season.

"First, I don't think that's necessarily Luol's locker-room personality. Plus, even when LeBron James was the center of attention, Erik Spoelstra kept Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem as the two co-captains, and I certainly don't expect that to change," reported Ira Winderman for the Sun Sentinel. "What I do expect to change is Chris Bosh's voice."

Bosh also shares a similar trait with James as being one of the highest-paid players in the Heat.

"As the highest-paid player on the team (a distinction he previously shared with James) and holding the longest contract on the team, his voice has to resonate more than it has during the past four seasons," the journalist added.

Still, there are chances that Wade will be the team's best player on the field but in the locker room, veteran forward Udonis Haslem will still remain as the emotional leader of the locker room. Bosh on the other hand is still looked upon by the other players in the roster.
