Miami Heat NBA 2015 News, Rumors: Chris Bosh Goes to Hospital for Test on Lungs, Could Miss Games

Chris Bosh reportedly went to the hospital on Thursday for checkup on his lungs.

According to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, Bosh did not make a return to New York City a week after participating in the NBA All-Star Game and instead stayed in Miami and underwent tests.

Citing an anonymous source, the report says that the Heat will get the real score of Bosh's lung health Friday, just before they take on the New York Knicks.

However, the source did not mention if Bosh just came to the hospital for a checkup or decided to confine himself there.

Bosh has been missing in practice for the past two days.

On Wednesday, Miami decided to send the 6'10" center home after he said that he was not feeling well.

The following day, Coach Erik Spoelstra said that Bosh still had some health issues, forcing him to miss the practice and eventually the flight to New York.

Prior to the All-Star break, Bosh said that he intended to use the weeklong intermission for rest and recuperation from undisclosed conditions.

Both Bosh and Dwyane Wade's families went on a vacation during the break. Wade, however, revealed that Bosh's lung problems has been hampering him even before the break.

"He wasn't feeling good.I don't know what it was. He just wasn't feeling good overall," said Wade, the team's other star.

Bosh staying in Miami could mean he will be unavailable for the Knicks match, which may further deprive the meeting of star power.

New York will be without Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire various reasons.

The Knicks and Stoudemire agreed to the latter's contract buyout. He eventually signed with the Dallas Mavericks.

On the other hand, Anthony, who still made the All-Star Game on Sunday, will undergo knee surgery, which will sideline him for a minimum of four months.
