Chris Brown and Drake Suing Each Other Over Nightclub Brawl?

Chris Brown and Drake are reportedly battling one another in court over the blame of an altercation involving the two at New York City's W.I.P nightclub last summer.

Romain Julien, a French model, has reportedly filed a lawsuit against both the singer and the rapper after suffering injuries stemming from the brawl that took place between the entourages of the two entertainers last June, TMZ reported. However, the publication is also reporting that Drake and Brown have filed legal documents against one another to place the blame of the altercation on the opposing party.

If the judge in the case orders anyone to pay damages for the model's injuries, each entertainer wants the other to be held responsible, TMZ reports.

The physical altercation reportedly began when Brown, 23-year-old singer-songwriter and ex-boyfriend to Barbadian entertainer Rihanna, sent a bottle of champagne to rapper Drake's table while the two were in WIP night club. The Sun reported that the bottle was a peace offering to end a feud sparked from Drake's rumored romantic relationship with Rihanna, but the rapper reportedly sent the bottle back to Brown.

The gesture allegedly caused Brown to confront the rapper, who retaliated by punching him in the face and throwing a bottle at his face. The security staff belonging to each respective musician reportedly got involved in the scuffle, and Brown took to Twitter to vent about the matter.

"How (do) you party with rich (expletives) that hate," Brown questioned on his Twitter early Thursday morning. "Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!"

Brown was also vocal about the incident in a remixed version of Chicago rapper Chief Keef's song "I Don't Like," which features Kanye West, Pusha T and Jadakiss last July. In the song, the R&B singer touched on the June 14 incident where his chin was split open after bottles were thrown at New York City's W.I.P nightclub.

"They throwing bottles, I'm throwing models," Brown rapped. "I be singing he be singing so its on sight!"
