Chris Brown Explains How To React When Provoked; 'I Gotta Work Harder,' Singer Says

Chris Brown has learned that he cannot be quick to react after he is provoked by others.

Brown, the 25-year-old singer, took to Twitter to speak about how to react when provoked.

"When someone provokes you just remember all the positive s*** you have to look forward to in your life in the future," he wrote on the website. "You might feel satisfaction at that moment dealing irresponsibly to that issue but it will f*** up so much s*** for you in the future. Just means I gotta work harder."

Brown was released from jail last June and is serving probation for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna, in 2009 with subsequent violent acts that followed. Earlier this year, the singer admitted he is not perfect in a new heartfelt message for his fans.

"I been through a lot in my life. Made a lot of mistakes along the way," Brown tweeted. "But through it all I've always been true to myself and through God I've been able to take care of my family! I should regret some things but I think the lessons learned will shape me into a real man."

The singer insisted he was grateful by writing, "I'm grateful and appreciative! Thank you for life."

Recently, Brown spoke up about slain teenager Michael Brown, who was fatally shot by Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson without being charged for the incident.

He identified with the slain teenager as a "troubled individual."

"I usually don't say too much s*** on really sensitive subjects but this is beyond f***** up," Brown captioned an Instagram image of Mike Brown. "We as a black community and me as a young black troubled individual need justice to be done. We also as black people need to find other more effective ways of protesting."

Brown went on to call for God to be with the nation in troubled times.

"We are strong and powerful and have come along way and its ashame that it feels like the 1950s and 60s," he wrote. "Just because u are given a badge and a gun doesn't mean you are invincible and not accountable for your actions. May God be with us all. #justiceforMIKEBROWN (sic)."
