Chris Brown, Frank Ocean Cleared by Surveillance After Brawl?

Chris Brown is reportedly ready to talk to police about his recent run-in with Frank Ocean following explosive claims made by an alleged eyewitness.

On Sunday, both singers were involved in a brawl at L.A.'s Westlake Recording Studio. While the alleged eyewitness has claimed that Brown was the instigator, surveillance footage taken from the scene reportedly clears him of any wrongdoing, according to TMZ.com.

On Monday, the source told TMZ that Brown, 23, threw the first punch at Ocean after the 25-year-old allegedly insulted him. However, Mark Geragos, Brown's attorney, claims that these reports are inaccurate.

Surveillance footage proves that both Brown and Ocean did not throw any punches, according to Geragos. As a result his client Brown is eager to discuss the incident with police. The fight allegedly involved members of both entourages and so far, neither party has pressed any charges.

The fight reportedly began as Brown was leaving the venue. Sources claim that Ocean and his entourage blocked the singer from leaving and confronted him over a parking spot.

"This is my studio, this is my parking spot," Ocean allegedly yelled at Brown.

It has been claimed that Brown attempted to shake Ocean's hand, which fans suspect was an attempt to make peace. Members of Ocean's entourage then allegedly reacted by attacking the singer, which triggered a violent melee.

Police were called and they took a statement from Ocean. Brown, as instructed by Geragos, had already left the scene.

"The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim," the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement released Monday.

Ocean is being referred to as the "victim" by default simply because he was the only party present upon police arrival.

Both singers have been clashing since 2011 after Brown compared Ocean to singer-songwriters James Fauntleroy and Kevin Cossum.

"I f— with Frank Ocean! Reminds me of a young James Fauntleroy or Kevin Cossum," Brown tweeted.

Ocean, who evidently took offense to the tweet, responded by saying Brown reminded him "of a young sisqo or ike turner." He later tweeted that he"dont like underhanded comments."

Brown, who appeared to be stunned by Ocean's jab, insisted that his initial tweet "was a compliment …. Everybody claim to be the devil till they meet him."

Months later Brown was accused of making homophobic remarks about Ocean, who is openly bisexual, although he later denied the claims.
