Chris Brown made headlines when an Instagram rant about his alleged frustrations in life appeared publicly. Now the singer's representatives are saying that he was not responsible for the recent social media tirade.

Brown, a 23-year-old singer-songwriter, made headlines for recent questions surrounding the validity of his court-mandated community service and a physical altercation involving fellow musician Frank Ocean. Although the singer recently announced that he would no longer make his Instagram account available for the general public to see, some believed that he was the individual behind a recent rant on the picture sharing social media website.

"I'm a human being and I honestly think I deserve respect I'm sick of being accused ... Im tired y'all Just don't understand Ive been going through this s--- since I was 19 years old...when am I gonna get a positive outcome out of anything I do," the Instagram rant read. "I'm TIRED...just when everything seems to be going good some new s--- happens. A day in my shoes is a day in hell, believe it or not!"

However, a representative for Brown denied that the singer was behind the rant by reportedly telling GossipCop.com, "it's fake. He currently doesn't have an Instagram."

Brown officially announced that he was leaving social media following his scuffle with Ocean in California last month.

"Social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons," Brown wrote to fans on his Instagram account last month. "So with that, I'm detaching myself from that world."

Although Brown's Twitter account is still active, no personal messages have been written on the social networking website since November, when he let the world know that he would stop using it. All of the messages posted on his Twitter account are either written by his staff or others who tweet about his appearances, charities and other promotions.

Last November, Brown engaged in a Twitter feud with comedian and writer Jenny Johnson, which resulted in the singer taking down his social networking page.
