Chris Brown's recent legal troubles have caused some of his fellow entertainers to offer him words of wisdom and prayers.
Brown, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter, was taken to a rehabilitation center by his longtime lawyer Mark Geragos, one day after being released from a Washington D.C. jail where he spent 36 hours. The singer was arrested after he was accused of breaking the nose of Parker Isaac Adams, 20, who allegedly attempted to sneak into a photograph that Brown was taking with two women, according to E! News reports.
The singer made national headlines after he physically assaulted ex-girlfriend and singer Rihanna in 2009, which he is currently serving probation for. Since that assault, Brown has made headlines for allegedly engaging in other physical altercations including those with fellow entertainers Frank Ocean and Drake.
After his most recent physical altercation, some celebrities have felt compelled to speak up in an attempt to break through to Brown. Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight boxing champion of the world said that while he was fond of Brown, the singer-songwriter needed to exercise humility.
"I like and admire that little guy, but I'm just worried about him...they're gonna put him somewhere where that's all they do is assault people," Tyson said on 95.5 WPLJ, years after undergoing his own issues with domestic violence. "Chris should know this … if you're not humble in this world, this world will dress humbleness upon you."
Bow Wow, the rapper turned BET talk show host, is friends with Brown and took to Instagram to offer the singer advice.
"Been homies since day 1. Im talking bout got money together so much like bros if you aint have it on you my (expletive) it was nothing i got you! Same on both ends (SIC)," the 106 & Park host wrote about Brown. "Keep yo head up stay focused you got a gift that your fans appreciate. Dont give these people no more reason to talk."
Lil Mo, a singer who recently appeared on "R&B Divas: L.A." took to Twitter after news of Brown's arrest broke to call for prayers concerning his legal matters.
"Listen!! It is PRAYING TIME (SIC)," Lil Mo tweeted. "I do NOT like to see my co-workers self destruct. Dear CB. FIRE EVERYBODY. God will send YOU who YOU NEED #amen."
Brown is currently spending time in a rehabilitation center where he hopes to gain insight about his aggression issues, according to E! News.
