Chris Brown Responds to Threats of Gun Violence by Gang Member

Chris Brown was threatened by a heckler recently who reportedly insinuated that he would shoot the 23-year-old rapper.

Brown was exiting the Los Angeles, Calif. nightclub Playhouse recently when a man decided to ask a threatening question to the singer.

"Is that (expletive) bulletproof?" the antagonist questioned Brown, who had entered his Lamborghini, according to TMZ.

The aggressor did not let up and continued to verbally lash out at Brown.

"I ain't never seen a (expletive) jump in a car that fast," the individual continued."Chris is that (expletive) bulletproof?"

Brown, who reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with singer Frank Ocean last month, responded and seemed to ask the antagonist if he was bulletproof, TMZ reported.

However, the heckler did not back down from the exchange, alleging that he was a gang member.

"I'm a Crip … yeah, I'm bulletproof," the antagonist responded.

Brown ultimately left the scene without further incident.

Brown is currently facing a probation violation after Los Angeles District Attorneys questioned if he was being honest about his community service hours he served as a result of physically assaulting singer Rihanna in 2009. However, the singer has also had his share of physical scuffles last year.

Aside from the incident with Ocean, the singer was also part of a violent exchange that involved rapper Drake outside of W.I.P nightclub in New York City last summer. On an episode of MTV's "This is How I Made It" last October, Brown revealed that it has been hard to turn his image around after engaging in his physical altercation with Rihanna.

"Having to get personal opinion back and having to gain personal success back, you know, it's not all the way back you know. But it's one of my most humbling experiences," Brown told MTV. "My story or my life or my legacy can hopefully show them that once you're down, that don't just mean you're down forever. You never let up."
