Chris Brown Show Canceled Before Spending Thanksgiving With Rihanna?

Chris Brown's Concert in Guyana reportedly canceled amid domestic dispute protests.

Chris Brown is the subject of reports stating that he backed out of a concert in Guyana amid protests stemming from his 2009 domestic dispute with Rihanna. However, despite the anger surrounding his relationship with Rihanna, the 23-year-old singer reportedly spent Thanksgiving with his pop star ex-girlfriend.

Hits and Jams Entertainment Group announced that Brown was backing out of a Dec. 26 "Unforgettable II" in Guyana after his management heard about reports of the protests against him.

"The management team in a correspondence to HJ Entertainment said they do not feel comfortable at this stage allowing the multi-award winning singer to come to Guyana as they have been following reports in the local and international press about the protests over his Guyana appearance," the website stated. "Over the weekend, the singer's performance in Europe was smeared with widespread protests. His team appears to be making efforts to avoid similar protests. His management team has indicated that they remain interested in having the singer perform in Guyana but just not at this time under the current circumstances."

However, Brown's management team did not confirm these reports in a statement for E! News. Instead, Brown's team said that he never confirmed the performance next month.

"This concert was never confirmed," Brown's representatives told E! "The promoter is being untruthful."

Despite the protests surrounding Brown's 2009 altercation with Rihanna, he was spotted with the 24-year-old Barbadian pop star after she attended his concert in Berlin, Germany according to ABC News reports. While Rihanna attended Brown's concert in Germany on Thanksgiving, the pair reportedly also attended an after-party at a nightclub together.

Rihanna made sure to let her fans know that she was joining Brown on Thanksgiving Day after tweeting a picture of herself flying in a jet with the caption, "All alone in my big ole (SIC) jet!!! See u soon lover."

Soon after, she let fans know that she would be joining Brown on his Carpe Diem tour by tweeting, "#Berlin #CarpeDiem."
