Chris Brown Slams Miranda Lambert After Grammys 'Hate All U Want'

Chris Brown has blasted country music singer Miranda Lambert after she slammed his Grammys win insisting that that he should not have attended because of his 2009 assault against his then girlfriend Rihanna.

The 22-year-old, who won a Grammy on Sunday night for best R&B album for his fourth album F.A.M.E., took to Twitter to respond to Lambert's criticisms.

"HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F*** OFF," Brown tweeted.

"Strange how we pick and choose who to hate! Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning)," Brown had earlier tweeted before adding "But yet we glorify them and imitate everything they do."

"Then right before the worlds eyes a man shows how he can make a Big mistake and learn from it, but still has to deal with day to day hatred! You guys love to hate!!! But guess what???" he posted.

Sources blamed the angry tweets on Brown's assistant, and they have since been deleted although some question whether that explanation was simply a cover up, according to Radar Online.

Brown not only won a Grammy award but also put on an exceptional performance, and 28-year-old Lambert immediately took to Twitter to complain.

"Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys," an outraged Lambert tweeted.

"How dang long did they give Nicki Minaj to do whatever that was? Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl..." she added.

While other celebrities including singer Michelle Branch and TV personality Sherri Shepherd also criticized Brown, Grammy officials defended the pop star.

Grammy producer, Ken Ehrlich, recently told CBS News that he was "kind of rooting" for Brown's career comeback after witnessing the damage that his 2009 assault on pop star Rihanna had on his career.

"I just believe people deserve a second chance. The year he had this year really brought him back into the public. He really deserved a second chance," Ehrlich said.

Lambert has not responded to Brown, although it has been reported that fans of Brown have begun slamming her on Twitter.
