Christian Aid to North Korea

A South Korean Christian relief body will ship 5 billion won ($4.1 million) worth of medical supplies today to North Korea from the western port of Inchon, the group said yesterday.

The body, affiliated with Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, said the shipment is part of a $10 million pledge it made to the North's Asia-Pacific Peace Committee in November last year to treat tuberculosis patients in the North.
