Renowned Christian artist Rebecca St. James announced her engagement to Jacob Fink earlier this week.

The Grammy winner shared, “We are truly amazed at finding our dreams and ideals met in the love we’ve found. We are exceedingly grateful for this precious gift from God.”

The proposal came to St. James, 33, on Christmas day at her family farm in Franklin, Tenn. The date for the wedding has yet to be announced.

The Australian born St. James is well known for her support for abstinence. Through her signature song, “Wait for Me,” she sends out a message to young people about her personal commitment to purity before marriage.

Her first acting debut was in 2009 in the film “Sarah’s Choice” by Pureflix Entertainment which won both critical and audience acclaim for its strong pro-life message. The pro-life advocate still continues to encourage young girls on the importance of purity and living godly lives.

Her fiancé, Fink, a Colorado native, currently resides in Southern California. Before attending college and graduating summa cum laude with a degree in communications and an emphasis on film production he spent two years as a missionary in South Africa.
