A slew of Christian-based applications for iOS mobile devices offer Bible trivia activities.

Ned's Bible Trivia

Ned's Apps & Games developed an app called "Ned's Bible Trivia."

Users can choose from 1,000 trivia questions that are separated by nine different categories and three different modes of play. Some of the categories that are included with this app, include: "Who Said," "Beginner," "Biblical People," "Books of the Bible," "Challenging," "Fun Facts," "Jesus," "New Testament" and "Old Testament."

Forum user Kevin McNeese gave his opinion of "Ned's Bible Trivia” on website ChristianiPhoneApps.

"Overall, this is a great app for the value. While there's no repetition in the actual questions, thanks to the 1,000+ questions included, there is a little bit in the achievements, especially when you answer questions incorrectly,” wrote McNeese.

"The presence of ads at the bottom of a paid app may also be frustrating for some. But these are minor distractions on what is overall a great way to test your knowledge of the Bible, a source rich of knowledge we all need more of,” McNeese added.

"Ned's Bible Trivia" is listed at $0.99 on the iTunes store.

Christian Bible Quiz

Ingenious Technology's Bible trivia app, "Christian Bible Quiz," is currently being offered as Version 2.0. A wide variety of trivia for the app focuses on Christianity, the Bible and Jesus Christ.

Its upgrades include 60 percent more questions than the first version, compatibility with the iPad, a new two player competitive mode and a new world leader board. The app retails at $1.99 on the iTunes store.

Biblicious Bible Trivia

Pariahware's "Biblicious Bible Trivia" is now being offered as Version 2.3.2. It sells for $3.99 on the iTunes store.

The game presents users with several Bible-centered questions in a game show setting. Old Testament and New Testament questions are included. The game show's host, "Flip Ant," is the app's likable mascot.

Bible Trivia Deluxe

"Bible Trivia Deluxe" contains 5,500 faith-based questions based on the Bible's scriptures. Correct answers bring users closer to Heaven while answering incorrectly brings them closer to the Abyss.

"[It has] great content with a good range of questions. I wish it had a little more "game" feel to it. The questions are challenging with a great variety of topics. I would like to do a set number of questions and be graded, or at least compile statistics for the different categories,” said JETBatt, another forum user.

Users can purchase this app for $2.99.

The iTunes store features a description of the app's features.
