Christmas in Washington

The Christmas spirit and holiday cheer was at its peak in Washington, Sunday, as the First family joined big-name performers for a holiday pageant at the National Building Museum. Entitled, “Christmas in Washington,” the holiday tradition – running on its 23rd year – benefits the Children’s National Medical Center in the nation’s capital.

During his address, President Bush paid tribute to the many service men far away from home during the holiday season.

"These families and the troops they love can be certain that they have the support and gratitude of our nation,” he said, according to the Associated Press.
