'Clash Of Clans' News, Update: Supercell To Offer 2-Week Sneak Peek Ahead Of Roll Out Date

Fans of the hit turn-based strategy game, "Clash of Clans," may already know that a new update is coming. In fact, Supercell, the game developer, revealed last month at the ClashCon that the new patch will introduce Town Hall 11.

Part of the big changes coming for the players' villages is the slated arrival of a new hero, a new defensive building, as well as a larger map. Images of the new contents can be viewed via the official game forum site. It is assumed that the Town Hall level 11 will be a prerequisite to be able to build the new defense building as well as gain access to the new yet still mysterious troop.

On top of which, there will also be some changes that will be introduced in the other areas of the game like the shields (including the exciting new "Village Guard" concept), session timers and Personal Break, multiplayer matchmaking, league bonuses, and high-level Trophy calculations.

In the same Supercell forum site, the company admitted that the update has long been overdue.

"…but we are taking the time we need to make sure all of the delicate upcoming changes are as well tested and well balanced as possible," Supercell said in a statement.

The game developer firm went on to mention that they will be giving a 2-week sneak peek, starting next Monday, Nov. 23, so that fans can have a better grasp of the big changes coming towards the popular mobile game.

Below are the topics which Supercell confirmed to be part of the 2-week sneak peek event:

– Shields (part1): Attacking and Defending;

– Shields (part2): Personal Breaks and The Village Guard;

– League Bonuses, Trophy Offers and Matchmaking;

– Town Hall News (including the new defense building and the new hero).
