Cleveland Cavaliers Roster Complete With LeBron Back, to Sign 2-Year $46.9 Million Contract
After opting out of his contract last week, LeBron James has verbally agreed to re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to a report by ESPN, the four-time Most Valuable Player will sign a two-year contract worth $46.9 million, said sources Chris Broussard and Brian Windhorst.
Once James signs the contract, it would be the first time the NBA superstar will re-sign with a team. After his rookie contract with the Cavs in 2010, James decided to "take his talents to South Beach" and play with buddies Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Four NBA Finals trips and two championships after, LeBron decided to return home to bring Cleveland to its first ever NBA title. While that did not turn out quite well due to injuries to starters Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, James still did everything to keep the series interesting.
James led the Cavs in every stat department during the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. And now that James has re-signed, he hopes he will get more help if Cleveland makes a return trip to the Finals.
In the report, James will have the player option to opt out of the contract in its second year.
Aside from James, Cleveland has also announced that it will re-sign swingman Iman Shumpert for four years worth $40 million.
