The Los Angeles Clippers will host the Golden State Warriors in what is being billed as a clash of the western division leaders. The game will start at 4 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking below.
Warriors head coach Mark Jackson will be determined to return his team to winning ways after the team lost three of their last four games, putting them more than seven games behind Western Conference leaders the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Good news for Golden State was the return of Stephen Curry from injury, who helped end a 3-game losing streak with a 116-112 win over the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday.
Jackson will be sure to remind his players of how the Clippers reacted when they beat the Warriors on Jan. 2.
"It was just a good old-fashioned heavyweight championship stare down. That's all,'' Jackson told ESPN.
He added, "But they earned the right to celebrate, the way they played. So what you've got to do as a coach or as a player is just let it soak in and remember it. That's all. Mark it down with permanent ink.''
Point guard Chris Paul and the Clippers will be focused on continuing there incredible run in the Western Conference. The Clippers have won six of their last seven games and at one point earlier in the season won a franchise record 17 games in a row.
Los Angeles was able to defeat the lowly Washington Wizards 94-87 on Saturday in their last game. Paul returned from injury against the Wizards and finished with 22 points and 11 assists.
The Warriors this season have beat the Clippers two times and for the game on Monday both teams with rely heavily on their bench players for a win.
The Clippers bench is led by Jamal Crawford, who is averaging 16.5 points off the bench and will be the focus on defense after Paul and Blake Griffin.
