In a report by IGN, they said that the original Green Ranger of the hit superhero TV show "Power Rangers" has called on to the WWE former champion for a bout.

Jason David Frank recently took to his social media to post an image of his face (with the other half showing his television show alter ego) on his official Facebook page.

"I'll fight Punk," was the words written on the image post.

Frank, however clarified out that he doesn't really have a real-life grudge with Phil Brooks whatsoever and that the post is merely a "professional call out."

"I'm sorry guys I have to do this and wake up UFC," the MMA practitioner further said in the post.

"I like CM this is just a professional call out. This is my life and I deserve a shot at this. Haters hate, winners WIN. It's a great fight embrace don't hate."

The issue, as IGN revealed, in fact started during the Wizard-con which took place years back where Punk implied that he could take on the Green Ranger.

The following event, at NYCC 2013, the Power Ranger actor came back with a reply.

"I love CM Punk, he's a really nice guy. But he did say in his panel that he would fight me and you can't say that in the fighting world if you don't mean that you'd fight me. Let's get a contract going!" he said.
